My how time has flown! A ton has happened since my last post! We went to Maine for a Cleaver family reunion, Londyn had Princess Ariel come to her birthday, I got through Microbiology and Physiology which ended my journey at good old UVU, Nick turned 28 and I turned 26 ):, Christmas and New New years came and went in a blink of an eye, and now....I feel like I can breath! I am home until May when I start Dental Hygiene school, and I am enjoying a much needed break! I don't really do much other than play games with Lo, eat, shop, read (I just finished the Hunger Games and I loved them!) eat some more, and hang out with my favorite little girl! I am loving having nothing to do! Today I went and got all my scrubs for school, and ordered my lab coat and stethoscope! I am getting so excited and nervous at the same time!! Londyn is awesome! She is growing so fast and she teaches me something new every day!! I have been trying to figure out what to do with her once school starts, and I just found out her preschool teacher owns a private kindergarten that is closer to our house! My school hours are basically Mon to Thurs 8 to 3ish, and the kindergarten class in Mon to Thurs 9 to 2! Its perfect! I just still can't believe she is going to be 5!! I have been working with her on reading, and although it takes more patience than I was anticipating, she is making progress!! She read the word hop, woof and pet for the first time on her own so we went to Baskin Robbins today!! I got my typical bubble gum and she got a sprinkle vanilla cone. Before she even tasted her own she was half way done with mine! She kept saying "Mom, this is the best stuff I have ever had! I am getting this next time." She has a bunch of dance competitions coming up and she has been practicing very hard!! I am so blessed to have such a healthy, smart, beautiful little girl! She is so full of personality and sass! Austin, has been on his mission for almost 7 months!! I got an email from him yesterday that he has been called to be a zone leader!! I am so proud of him, and thankful for his testimony, faith and service!! PS...I started writing this post in Jan, thats why the date is wrong! It really is 3/8/2011

Londyn has been wanting a bike for a while now, so we decided to make a "Bike Chart" every time Londyn did something helpful or did a chore without being asked, she got to put a sticker on this chart that had a picture of the bike she wanted. It took her a few weeks, but she did it! As soon as she put her last sticker on, we headed to Sears to get her the bike. We walked in and couldn't find the bike at first, then like magic we turned the corner and there it was! The last bike on the shelf, the exact one in the picture that we had printed off the website weeks before! It was fate! It was so fun to see her proudly help Dad get it off the shelf and explain to the cashier that she earned it! Way to go sis! Now if we could only get you to ride it more often! Maybe it would help if it wasn't so cold outside! Don't get me wrong, I love that we are getting moisture (the moisture that we all prayed for.....remember!) but I can't wait until it warms up!

I remember going to this place as a kid, and for some reason haven't been back for years. I decided to take Londyn and my little brother to get us out of the house one rainy day, and it was so much fun! Londyn loved playing all the games and riding a spiderman scooter! (They were out of the princess ones) Londyn had never really been on a scooter, but she did great and it was all the entertainment I needed watching her crouch down and kick her bag leg as fast as it would go. The best was watching her get serious as she tried keeping up with the big kids with her game face on!

I had to delete my entire playlist bc it was playing at the beginning of a different song! WEIRD!! Maybe it was another cruel April Fools Joke! Some people take things too far!

Last week as we were rushing out the door, trying to get Londyn to preschool on time. I glanced at her calender and noticed it was crazy hair day! We quickly proceeded to the bathroom and thought of a crazy hair style! When I was all done, she looked in the mirror and started crying! After talking to her and reassuring her that everyone was going to have crazy hair, we talked her into keeping it! Once she got to school everything was fine and she had so much fun!
How I love this little girl! Words can't express the joy she brings to my life!

Nothing really new has happened. I am almost done with my prerequisites! Wahoo! I am in Anatomy right now and I love it! It for-sure is the hardest class I have taken, but very interesting. Londyn just started preschool and is doing so good! Nick is working hard as ever and has made some New Year resolutions to get into great shape! As if he isn't already! My goals or should I say goal, is to get a good grade in Anatomy! I just started working at Texas Roadhouse and love it so far! I just can't wait to be done serving and actually start doing what I love! I really am the worlds worst blogger but here are a few pics of the past few months!

Londyn + Treadmill= DISASTER !

A few months ago while Nick was helping his mom move into her new house, Londyn decided she wanted to give the treadmill a whirl! Nick didn't think anything of it because he never thought Londyn would figure out how to put the little red key in and turn it on! Well much to his surprise she did and it threw her right off, pinning her between the wall and the treadmill giving her second degree burns on her neck, shoulder, and arm. Nick had just burned his ear at work so we had a bunch of really good cream we kept on it and it's almost all gone!

So today as Londyn was prancing around the house in her Cinderella high heels and talking on her Little Mermaid phone, she informed me that Mickey Mouse Clubhouse was on the phone and Donald wanted to take her on a date! I replied with "Well, you are going to have to tell him to call back in 15 years when you can date" and she replied with..."Mom, I am not a child and I want to go on a date with Donald!" WOW!! I am in over my head with this little girl!! My next thought was where in the world is a ittle 2 year old learning to talk like this? Pretty much all she watches is the Disney Channel and I even limit that to maybe an hour a day. No more TV AT ALL!!! HELP!!

I love The 4th! We woke up early and went to the parade for a bit, came home had a BBQ with our awesome neighbors and then I headed to work. While I was gone everyone got in a huge water fight! I got off just in time to watch the fireworks and light a few sparklers!

Busy, busy, busy! Between work, school, and Londyn we stay BUSY! Lots of fun to be had and little time to do it! It has been a challenge but makes us value the time together that we do have! Nick can be found working, going to the gym and playing in two softball leagues....hence the sprained ankle! I try to do a craft here and there

To say the least.. WE LOVE CABELA'S! Whenever we have a chance we make a trip up to this awesome store to eat, look at fish, cool camping gear, guns, and just have a good time!! Londyn is so familiar with Cabela's she knows just where to go to get a free sucker and tokens, can name most of the animals, and can say she has shot a bear!!
The last time we went we met up with some family and our favorite twins Hallie and Avery!
We went up to the Aquarium with my favorite Uncle and Cousins and had a blast! Of course our favorite part was petting the sting rays!!

One of Londyn's new favorite places is Jump On It! We always have so much fun!

The Hogle Zoo! We went up with one of my old friends from high school and her two cute girls! We had so much fun looking at all the animals, or should I say FOR all the animals! There was one point we were inside the bird exhibit and right above us was a sloth!! It was so cool!
By the time we were heading back to the car Londyn was so done!! She was barely walking, had pulled her pig tails out and was ready to go! I had to get her an ice cream to revive her a bit! They have the best ice cream ever! I can't believe I had never got an ice cream from the zoo, and now thats the only reason why I want to go back!

Holidays are so much fun with a 2 year old!! We had so much fun coloring eggs at Nana's and eating lots of yummy easter treats!! However, I made the mistake of telling Londyn that she needed to go to bed because the Easter Bunny was on his way. Those of you that know Londyn know that she is terrified of things such as Chuck E Cheese, Santa, School Mascots, etc... As soon as I said he was on his way it wasn't two seconds and she was out of her bed and in ours where she slept the entire night, despite many attempts to return her to her own bed.

General Conference

One of my favorite traditions is to go sit on the Temple grounds and listen to a session of General Conference! It was such a beautiful day, and the spirit is so strong as you Listen to the wonderful talks and look up at the beautiful Temple!! Londyn loved it! We got to meet up with my cute little brother who was up volunteering at the conference building as a chaperone!! I am so proud of him!! As he walked up to us with his name tag on he looked just like a missionary! Only 1 more year buddy!!

The other day as we were driving home, we couldn't help but see the beautiful sky and how pretty it looked over Utah Lake! We decided to take advantage of the some what of a warm evening and go watch the sunset! It was so beautiful! The ice on the lake was breaking up and washing up on the shore. The reflection of the mountains and sky were breath taking!! The best part was sitting there in silence with Nick and Londyn! Yeah thats what I said...Londyn was so taken in by the moment she was dead silent! What a cool experience it was to sit back and enjoy some of Gods creations with those I love most! And especially to see that a 2 yr old can have an appreciation for it as well!

As some of you know, my cute little brother was on this season of American Idol! We got to go to all the auditions with him and meet a few people. It was so fun!! Stressful but fun!! Austin made it through the first cuts in Hollywood and then got cut on group night! If any of you watch, he was the one that forgot his words and started singing Doo doo doo! We are all so proud of him! Besides being there for Austin and being there when he made it through, the best part was meeting all the famous people and seeing how short they are in real life!! I love you Austin and you did an amazing job!!!

Christmas was so special this year! Papaw and Ma-maw were here from KY! We had the entire family which meant hours and hours of card games, food, movies, and fun!

Santa brought Londyn a kitchen!! She was so excited she didn't know what to do with herself! She kept trying to serve us a cookie she baked and it kept falling off the plate because she was shaking from excitement!!

Londyn's Dance Class

This is Londyn and her cute dance class!! The first time the teacher showed them how to form a train, she told them to put their hands up on the person in front of them. So every time they line up to form a line Londyn puts her hands up on the girl in front of her and they all get so bugged and push or shrug her hands off, but of course persistent Londyn keeps doing it!! She is so good at following directions but not so good at taking a hint!!
Londyn has been in dance for almost 5 months and is loving it!! She just had her first dance recital a few weeks ago and did awesome!! Nick and I were so stressed the night of the recital worrying if she would perform in front of a big crowd or just fall apart. Between that, getting her ready, and rushing out the door, we forgot our camera! Luckily Great Grandpa Niehoff brought one and got it all on tape! We are just waiting for him to send it to us and I will post it!! She is one of the youngest girls in the class and she did the best!! She is such a performer! She came out and saw all the people and turned into a star!! She did better for those few minutes they were performing than any of the classes she had been in! It was such a proud moment for our entire family!!

Ever since I was a little girl my very favorite thing to do is go get bubble gum ice cream with my very favorite person...my Grandpa!!! I have made it a tradition that once a week Londyn and I go get my grandpa and go get ice cream! She LOVES IT!! She takes after me and has developed an obsession with bubble gum ice cream. She loves her Great Grandpa Ron and always makes sure he gets plenty!! The middle picture is so funny because, if any of you have ever had bubble gum ice cream from Baskin Robbins, you know it comes with real pieces of pink bubble gum! Ever since I can remember I eat the ice cream and save the gum for last! As we were getting ready to leave I went to grab Londyn's cup to find she had done just that! Save the best for last right?

The past few months have been so busy for us! Between school, work, and a lame computer that crashed at least twice a day, I have had no time to keep up with blogging! Thanks to my husband I got a new laptop for my birthday, school has started and things are back in routine, I am going to try to catch up! I started so all of our family could see Londyn on a daily basis!! HAHA!! I have received many emails reminding me that I need to post more often! I am so sorry! I am going to post a bunch of this past year so everyone can see how much fun we are having with Londyn!! Hopefully in the next few days I can be updated and post recent stuff!

For one of our play dates a few months ago we all took our kids to a dairy farm that belongs to a member of our ward. It is right next to our house on geneva road. It was so fun! Londyn got to help feed a 3 day old calf, sit on one, and pet tons of cows! By the time the event was over I swore I would never drink milk again! It was the smelliest place I had ever been!! For a month, every time I went to take a drink of milk I swear I could smell those dang cows!! I gained a deep respect for the real milk men that make it possible for me and Lolo to have our cheerios every morning!!

Londyn has been on a Mickey Mouse pancake kick and has requested it many a breakfast!! I wasn't home the other morning and so Nick had the honor of preparing them! So when it came time for me to make them for her again, she saw the finished product and said..."Mommy, no Mickey Mouse I want daddy's Mickey Mouse" So daddy is the official pancake chef!!
